#CircleIPO What do we know about Circle's IPO?

Circle Internet Financial, known for issuing the stablecoin USDC, has taken an important step toward becoming a publicly traded company by filing a confidential draft of the S-1 document with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Details regarding the number of shares and their price range have not yet been determined.

This decision to go public follows Circle's previous attempt to go public through a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) in 2021, which failed.

The IPO is expected to occur after the SEC review, subject to market and other factors, possibly as soon as the first half of 2024.
