The terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but it was confirmed to be completed in cash. Zebec plans to use Gatenox technology to apply for compliance registration with the European Union (Crypto Assets Market Regulation) (MiCA) and the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) by 2025. This acquisition will allow Zebec to gradually reduce its reliance on third-party compliance service providers such as Sumsub.
