Ripple Price: Analyst Who Nailed XRP’s $3.36 Top Eyes $2 Retest Before Breakout
Originally published on Coinpedia Fintech News
Renowned crypto analyst Francis Hunt, also known as “The Market Sniper,” has shared fresh insights into XRP’s price trajectory. Hunt, who accurately predicted XRP’s previous peak at $3.36, believes the token is poised for a major breakout—after a likely retest of the $2 support zone.
From $3.36 High to Falling Wedge
Hunt highlighted that XRP has been trading in a falling wedge pattern since hitting $3.36—a formation that often precedes upward moves. Despite the recent sluggish market, especially with Bitcoin under pressure, XRP remains technically intact within this bullish setup.
$2: The Key Support Zone
The $2 level has emerged as a critical support, with repeated buying interest preventing a deeper breakdown. Hunt notes that strong hands seem to be defending this zone, signaling bullish intent. He sees brief dips below $2 as potential entry points, offering “one or two lucky fills” before the next move up.
Breakout on the Horizon
Though the wedge has lasted longer than expected, Hunt emphasizes that extended consolidation often leads to stronger breakouts. Most of XRP’s recent price action has occurred in the wedge’s lower half, indicating upward pressure may be building.
Still, he cautions that macroeconomic disruptions or geopolitical events could delay the anticipated breakout.
