Local time on June 4, the U.S. Senate confirmed Federal Reserve Governor Michelle Bowman to serve as Vice Chair of the Federal Reserve with a vote of 48 to 46.

It is reported that Bowman has served as a Federal Reserve Governor since 2018 and was nominated by U.S. President Trump to be Vice Chair of the Federal Reserve in March of this year. Bowman has extensive expertise in handling inflation, regulation, and banking.
