šŖ š¦ Tether shifts focus from the U.S. to emerging markets
According to the company's CEO (Bloomberg), Tether's main interest now lies outside the United States - despite the pro-crypto stance of theĀ TrumpĀ administration and the potential launch of a new US-based stablecoin.
$USDTĀ dominates almost every region except India, Argentina and Mexico. The most active transaction corridor is between Singapore and China. The U.S. accounts for just 18.7% of all USDT activity, while Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan together represent 36.3%.
Although Tether doesn't work directly with U.S. clients, USDT remains available on American exchanges šŗšø
