Berachain mainnet has officially completed the Bectra upgrade!

This upgrade has brought several core improvements, including smart accounts, a mechanism for validators to exit at any time, and simplified validator operations.

Berachain has also officially become the first Layer 1 blockchain to enable the complete Pectra execution layer upgrade suite after Ethereum.

If you are using applications on Berachain, everything has become easier now.

- Batch operations and one-click reward claims

- Use $HONEY to cover gas fees for applications

- Default support for smart wallets, allowing you to set subscription and spending rules

If you are developing on Berachain, the Bectra upgrade has brought new solutions for Rollup, gaming, and social applications.

With built-in incentive tools and delegated voting features, new projects can more easily launch and achieve community collaboration.

You can conceive more flexible incentive mechanisms and governance structures based on this.

If you are staking or running validator nodes, you can now have more flexible control over fund flows.

The Bectra upgrade has introduced the execution layer withdrawal feature, supporting on-demand exits or rebalancing.

At the same time, the validator operation experience is smoother, the fee logic is more refined, and delegation is supported.

Bectra has officially launched on the Berachain mainnet, activating seven key EIPs, including smart accounts (EIP-7702) and execution layer withdrawals (EIP-7002).

This upgrade also introduces BLS precompiles, historical block access, call data cost adjustments, and general execution layer request support.

All updates are now in effect, with no migration required.
