🪙💸 "If I sent you $10,000 to buy one altcoin — which one would you choose? And why?"
Now to the point:
If I had to choose one altcoin to invest $10,000 in for the medium/long term, I would choose:
Ethereum ($ETH )
Yes, it's technically not Bitcoin, but it's not the most "alt" either — just the strongest of them all.
Why ETH:
1. Stable ecosystem: most DeFi, NFT, DAO, and other projects are built on Ethereum.
2. Scalability: updates (such as Dencun and Danksharding) improve speed and reduce fees.
3. Real use cases: it's already actively used, not just "promising".
4. Strong developer team and community.
5. More regulatory protection than most other altcoins.
If you want something riskier but with greater potential, then:
Solana ($SOL )
Fast, cheap, with a growing ecosystem.
Used in mobile crypto devices (Saga Phone).
Risk: more centralized than ETH and has been vulnerable to failures.
Or:
Chainlink ($LINK )
Oracles: a bridge between the blockchain and the real world.
Used in many DeFi protocols.
Less hype, but more fundamentals.
