🇰🇷 South Korea has elected cryptocurrency supporter Lee Jae-myung as its new president.
The candidate from the Democratic Party, Lee Jae-myung, promises explosive growth for the crypto industry by proposing to invest $884 billion from the National Pension Fund into digital assets and accelerate the regulation of stablecoins!
"We must keep national wealth within the country and create our own stablecoin market in won to reduce reliance on foreign stablecoins like USDT," said Lee.
The president plans to create conditions for foreign investments and staking infrastructure, which will expand access to new financial products and lower costs for crypto investors.
