Binance to Delist Five FDUSD Trading Pairs on June 6, 2025
On June 4, 2025, Binance—one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges—announced that it will be removing five trading pairs from its spot market. This move is significant for Binance users and investors involved with the affected assets.
Pairs Being Removed:
Effective at 03:00 UTC on June 6, 2025, the following FDUSD trading pairs will no longer be available:
ACX/FDUSD
IDEX/FDUSD
ORCA/FDUSD
THETA/FDUSD
XAI/FDUSD
After this time, all trading for these pairs will be halted, and any associated trading bots will be automatically disabled.
Other Trading Options Remain Available
Binance emphasized that while these FDUSD pairs are being removed, users can still trade the affected tokens through other available pairs on the platform. For instance, coins like THETA and XAI will remain tradable against other currencies.
Important Notice: Disable Bots
The exchange strongly advises users to deactivate any trading bots linked to the affected pairs to avoid unintended losses. If bots remain active during or after the delisting process, they may execute unsuccessful or erroneous trades.
Why It Matters
It’s important to note that this delisting only applies to specific trading pairs, not the tokens themselves. The assets are not being entirely removed from Binance. However, users will no longer be able to trade them against FDUSD. Such actions are typically based on factors like low trading volume, liquidity concerns, technical issues, or internal reviews by Binance.
