K33 starts accumulating Bitcoin, aiming to own 1,000 BTC
The crypto market has just received a positive signal from Europe as K33, a brokerage and digital asset research company based in Sweden, officially launched a strategy to accumulate Bitcoin for corporate treasury.
The first transaction – purchasing 10 BTC worth approximately 10 million #SEK (~1 million USD) – is the first step in a larger plan with a total budget of 60 million SEK (~6 million USD).
CEO Torbjørn Bull Jenssen shared: “We believe that Bitcoin will be an outstanding performing asset in the coming years. Holding Bitcoin not only enhances the value of assets but also creates strong synergies with the current brokerage segment.”
He also revealed a long-term goal to build a portfolio of at least 1,000 32998834988 and continue to expand as the market matures.
In the context of more and more technology and financial companies shifting to hold Bitcoin as part of their treasury strategy, K33's move reaffirms confidence in the long-term potential of Bitcoin and is a clear sign of the maturation of crypto in the traditional financial environment.
