Cristiano Ronaldo, full name Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, is a world-renowned professional footballer from Portugal. Born on February 5, 1985, in Madeira, he is considered one of the greatest football players in history.
He began his professional career with Sporting CP in Portugal before moving to Manchester United in 2003. Under Sir Alex Ferguson, Ronaldo became a global star, winning his first Ballon d'Or in 2008. In 2009, he transferred to Real Madrid for a then-world record fee. During his time in Madrid, Ronaldo won numerous La Liga and Champions League titles, becoming the club’s all-time leading scorer.
He later played for Juventus in Italy and returned briefly to Manchester United before joining Al-Nassr, a Saudi Arabian club, in 2023.
