🚀 Calculation Error: I sold my $PEPE for $RED and $NIL … and the Rocket took off WITHOUT ME 🤦♂️
In the world of cryptocurrencies, they say you have to "HODL". But, what happens when patience runs out and vision becomes cloudy? Today, I want to share a personal story of a mistake that, in retrospect, is costing me dearly. 😔
I had my $PEPE. Yes, those very same ones. I had bought them, I had HODLed... but I saw them sitting there, stagnant. They weren't rising, they weren't moving. The frustration grew. 😫 I felt like I was missing out on other opportunities, that the money from my PEPEs could be doing something more.
So, in a moment of what I thought was "strategy" and "foresight", I made the decision. I sold all my $PEPE. Yes, I sold them! 🤦♂️
For what? To bet on the "new". I invested that capital in projects that seemed promising to me, with fundamentals, with long-term vision: I bought Redstone (RED) and Nil ($NIL), both around $0.55. I told myself: "This is a smart investment!" 🧠
And life, or rather the crypto market, has a twisted sense of humor. 🤡
A few days after selling my PEPE, the train took off. No, it didn't take off, it exploded! 🚀 PEPE shot to the stratosphere, multiplying its value in a way I never imagined. Watching it rise from the sidelines was a gut punch. 🤢 Meanwhile, my new "gems", RED and $NIL, not only didn’t rise, but they have dropped significantly, especially Redstone. 📉
Now, I'm here, looking at the chart of PEPE and the chart of my new acquisitions. It’s the harsh reality of trading: impulsive decisions, impatience, and FOMO for the "new" can be the worst enemies. 🫨
This is a painful lesson about patience, conviction, and above all, don’t move the money if you’re not sure about your initial thesis! The "What if I had..." is the most expensive ghost in crypto. 👻
Has anything similar ever happened to you?
