PANews, June 4th news, according to The Block, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse publicly denied at a conference in Las Vegas that Ripple had ever proposed to acquire the stablecoin issuer Circle, stating that the related reports are false and that he "never considered the deal." Previously, some media reported that Ripple had made an acquisition offer between 4 to 5 billion dollars. Circle responded by stating that "the company is not for sale," and is currently preparing for an IPO with a valuation of 7.2 billion dollars, planning to sell 32 million shares of Class A common stock. Ripple launched its own stablecoin RLUSD in 2024, which currently has a market value of 310 million dollars, far below USDC's 61.5 billion dollars.
