Recently, on April 20, 2024, we had Bitcoin's fourth "halving". It's like a scheduled event that cuts the reward for mining new Bitcoins in half. And look, every time this happens, the price of Bitcoin skyrockets because, plain and simple, there's less in circulation.
Think about this: after the first halving in 2012, Bitcoin shot up 10,000% in a year! With the second one in 2016, it rose 3,000%, and after the one in 2020, 725%. Obviously, we can't say this will happen again exactly the same way, but if Bitcoin follows that upward trend, the massive amount of Bitcoins that Satoshi is said to have (rumored to be over a million BTC) could make his fortune surpass Buffett's.
