The Blockchain Group Boosts Bitcoin Holdings to 1,471 BTC After €60.2M Buy
The Blockchain Group (ALTBG), listed on Euronext Growth Paris, has acquired 624 BTC for €60.2M (~$68.8M), pushing its total bitcoin holdings to 1,471 BTC—now worth €131.9M. This marks a year-to-date (YTD) BTC yield of 1,097.6%.
The BTC purchases were funded through two capital operations:
A €6.8M private placement on May 20, used to buy 80 BTC.
A €55.3M convertible bond deal on May 26, subscribed by Fulgur Ventures, enabling the purchase of 544 BTC.
ALTBG, recognized as Europe’s first bitcoin treasury company, now holds an average BTC acquisition price of €89,687. Since the start of 2025, it has gained 439 BTC and added €42.3M in value.
