The famous actor Josh Brolin revealed in an interview with Guy Raz that he turned to stock trading during a difficult period in his acting career to support his family.
Brolin said, "I wasn't making money," explaining that even with commissions and standard fees in the field, his income was not enough to cover his expenses. Encouraged by investor Britt Markinson, Brolin immersed himself in learning the markets, later gaining insights from financial experts while filming "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps."
He said, "I made more money than I ever made in my acting life," attributing that to disciplined investing rather than luck.
After having traded daily, Brolin now focuses on long-term investments, noting the exhausting daily trading routine. Confident in his ability to manage his money, he added, "I knew I could understand financial matters... not just through acting."
