📊 What is the OBV indicator?
A momentum indicator based on trading volume.
It connects price movement and trading volume to determine the strength of the true trend.
Every day:
If the price closes higher → today's volume is added to the OBV indicator
If it closes lower → today's volume is subtracted from the OBV indicator
🔍 Why is this important?
Because volume precedes price!
If OBV rises while price is stable → there's hidden accumulation
If OBV falls and price is high → there's hidden distribution
🔥 Best uses:
🔸 Revealing hidden movements of whales
🔸 Confirming or denying trends (Divergence)
🔸 Predicting upcoming price explosions
⚠️ Attention!
❌ OBV does not give you direct buy/sell signals
❌ You need to use it with candles or confirmation indicators like RSI or MACD
