With 100x leverage, a 1% price increase or decrease will wipe out the account.
With 50x leverage, a 2% price increase or decrease will wipe out the account.
With 30x leverage, a 3.33% price increase or decrease will wipe out the account.
With 20x leverage, a 5% price increase or decrease will wipe out the account.
With 10x leverage, a 10% price increase or decrease will wipe out the account.
With 5x leverage, a 20% price increase or decrease will wipe out the account.
With 2x leverage, a 50% price increase or decrease will wipe out the account.
Why do I usually trade altcoins with x1 or x2 primarily, and rarely go with higher x? And always trade with small volume, so even if it goes against me by 400% or 500%, it’s still safe. In this market, managing capital is the top priority.
