Ross Ulbricht, founder of Silk Road, earned over 1.8 million USD in BTC by selling personal prison belongings and artworks at public auction.
✅ The auction was held on the Scare City platform, where the most valuable item was his prison ID card, which sold for 5.5 BTC.
Other items included a notebook, a pair of sneakers, a tracksuit, and three oil paintings he created while in prison.
👉 Ulbricht was released after a presidential pardon from Donald Trump after spending over 10 years in prison.
