Elon Musk launches XChat – which is already being called a direct competitor to #Telegram

#XChat is in beta testing and offers the following features:

- Group chats

Message disappearing

Ability to mark messages as unread

File sharing

Conversation protection with a four-digit PIN code ㅤ

- Access to XChat is now limited to a select group of users with a premium subscription on the X platform. ㅤ

- Elon Musk has also stated his intention to turn the X platform into a universal app, similar to the Chinese WeChat, combining the functions of a messenger, payment system, and other services.
