PANews June 1st news, according to PeckShield monitoring, approximately 20 cryptocurrency attack incidents occurred in May 2025, with total losses reaching $244 million, a decrease of 39.29% compared to April. The five major hacking incidents were: Cetus Protocol stolen $220 million (with $157 million frozen, equivalent to 71% of the stolen funds recovered); Cork Protocol ($12 million); suspected North Korea-related hacking attack ($5.2 million); Token MBU ($2.2 million) and MaplestoryU ($1.2 million).
