To be honest, GCV is not a global consensus. I have been here long enough to know the truth. In the United States, the GCV movement is only heavily promoted in countries like Indonesia, China, and Nigeria. This is not a global initiative. You have not included other parts of the world, and your starting point is definitely not the actual location of the Pi Network.
In 2023, some sellers were deceived into selling goods and services at GCV prices, with buyers promising a value of $314,159 for Pi. Now, in 2025, Pi's trading price is around $0.65, and these sellers have suffered losses—they have been deceived for over two years, just because of an illusion. How can those misled seek help?
When Pi officially launched at around $2, it was a historic and hopeful beginning. However, the GCV community did not celebrate real progress; instead, they felt frustrated because they were deceived. The misinformation does not stop there. First, the leaders of GCV claimed that the Pi core team would announce GCV on Pi Day. But that did not happen. Then they said Dr. Nicholas would announce it at the 2025 consensus conference. But that also never happened. Next, they claimed that GCV would be implemented in the dApp. However, we just saw five new applications added, none of which use the GCV price. Now they are saying GCV will be announced on Pi Day 2. How many more promises will be broken?
Worse, some GCV supporters are now threatening real estate businesses, demanding that they sell houses at a price of 0.30 Pi. This is not only unrealistic but also damages the reputation of the entire Pi Network. You are turning a revolutionary project into a joke.
Enough! Misleading the community, threatening legitimate businesses, and constantly changing the narrative will only harm Pi, not help it. If we want the world to take Pi Network seriously, we need to act with integrity, honesty, and professionalism, rather than baseless hype and pressure tactics.
