♦️French authorities have charged 25 people, including six minors, in connection with a series of kidnappings and attempted kidnappings linked to the cryptocurrency world in France, the Paris prosecutor's office announced on Saturday.
♦️The prosecutor's office said: "Eighteen people have been placed in pretrial detention, three have requested a postponement of their hearing, and four others have been placed under judicial supervision." The prosecutor's office added that investigations are ongoing into an attempted kidnapping targeting the daughter and grandson of the CEO of cryptocurrency company Paymium.
