BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA)

U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs have experienced significant inflows since their launch in July 2024. In December 2024 alone, these ETFs saw record net inflows of over $2 billion, nearly doubling November’s $1.1 billion, indicating growing institutional interest in Ethereum-backed investment products.

BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) led this surge, attracting $1.4 billion in net inflows during December, followed by Fidelity’s FETH with $752 million . These substantial inflows contributed to the total assets under management for Ethereum ETFs reaching $12 billion, representing over 3% of Ethereum’s market capitalization.

However, it's worth noting that not all funds experienced growth. Grayscale’s ETHE fund faced $274 million in outflows during December, highlighting the competitive dynamics within the Ethereum ETF market.
