Elon Musk has stepped back from the DOGE after significant reductions in public spending.

The whimsical billionaire Elon Musk recently gave an interview on CBS Sunday Morning. During this interview, he discussed his role within the DOGE, where he has been the director of this Department of Government Efficiency.

As his mission primarily consisted of reducing public spending in the United States, in an attempt to reduce the country's budget deficit, the new 'Bill Act' being discussed in Congress is evidently facing some difficulties.

The billionaire is 'disappointed' by the expenditures of the 'Bill Act' supported by Donald Trump.

During his interview, Elon Musk expressed disappointment at the new budget expenditures implied by this 'Bill Act' (which in this case would be, very roughly, an equivalent of the Finance Law in France) supported by the Republicans and President Donald Trump.

It must be said that this directly impacts the role of the DOGE and its work in reducing public spending.

Elon Musk seems to have, at least for the moment, prioritized his companies Tesla and SpaceX, clearly stepping back from the DOGE. On the crypto side, the billionaire is also keeping a low profile: no new meme on Dogecoin, and he has not revisited his promise to reauthorize Bitcoin for purchasing Tesla cars, if it was proven that a majority of non-carbon energy was used by BTC miners.
