💲 BlackRock plans to acquire 10% of Circle's shares
📈 Investment giant BlackRock, which participated in the $400 million Series F funding round for the stablecoin issuer Circle, aims to acquire 10% of the company's shares during the IPO.
➡️ According to Bloomberg, Circle will sell 9.6 million shares, while its shareholders will sell 14.4 million shares.
➡️ CEO of Circle Jeremy Allaire plans to sell about 8% of his stake, while former co-founder Sean Neville and CFO Jeremy Fox-Gin will each sell 11%.
➡️ Venture investors, including Accel, Breyer Capital, General Catalyst, IDG Capital, and Oak Investment Partners, will also sell about 10% of their assets.
