The conditions set by the IMF for #ElSalvador are that no additional Bitcoin can be purchased and the Chivo wallet (national wallet) must be suspended before the end of July, in order to continue disbursing 120 million USD from the 1.4 billion loan package.
Immediately after the IMF's announcement, El Salvador's Bitcoin Office reaffirmed that the country remains committed to "buying 1 $BTC every day." According to the official tracking page, the reserves have increased by about 30 BTC in the last 30 days, bringing the total to 6,190 BTC.
I guess just before the deadline, they will temporarily stop, wait to receive the money, then buy BTC again; that’s what I would do. As for how the El Salvador government will act, I don’t know.
