Telegram and Elon Musk’s company xAI have reached an agreement to bring the Grok AI artificial intelligence to Telegram users.
As part of the deal, Telegram will receive $300 million in a combination of cash and equity from xAI. Additionally, according to the Wall Street Journal, Telegram is preparing to raise $1.5 billion through a bond issuance, with expected participation from major investors such as BlackRock and Citadel.
Following the positive news, the price of TON surged by more than 20%.
