I remember in 2012, a friend told me, "Dude, they're having a Bitcoin fair."
Come on, even if it's just out of curiosity, admission is free.
We arrived and there were a bunch of men and women around 35 or older. Most were executives or entrepreneurs.
There were about five of us under 20. I was 17 and my friend was 16. The fair completely blew everyone away, and at the end, they started selling Bitcoins in packs.
I remember the most expensive pack cost $200 and came with about 40 Bitcoins. And a single Bitcoin cost $7. The exhibitors said it's very likely to go up to at least $200 in about 18 months. They can sell it or wait for it to go higher, but if they sell it when it reaches $200, they'll have made an excellent investment.
Imagine you buy 10 bitcoins you like, the $50 pack, and by selling it for $200, you'll have earned $1,950, and other projections were offered for larger amounts.
Men lined up to buy the bitcoins. Many bought multiple packs, and others bought a few units.
I got enough money to buy at least 10 bitcoins, and my brother could easily buy two expensive packs.
But we went around in circles, and the excitement faded. And in the end, we discovered they were already $20 each, and we were too lazy to buy them. 🤣🤣🤣
When I found out they were $2,000 each, imagine how we felt. 🤣🤣
And even worse when it reached $40,000 and now $100,000.
Aceves, I can't sleep thinking about what my life would have been like if I had bought just 10 bitcoins.
Well, I'm going to sleep because tomorrow I have to go to work from 6:00 to 17:00, with one day off a week. 😶🌫️
