$DOGE

Dogecoin, known by the symbol DOGE, is an open-source digital currency launched in December 2013 by engineers Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer. It started as a kind of joke about the cryptocurrency market, inspired by the famous internet meme "Doge" which depicts a Shiba Inu dog named Kabosu.

Technical Features

Proof of Work (PoW) Mechanism: It relies on a proof of work system to verify transactions.

Block Time: A new block is created every one minute.

Mining Reward: Each block grants 10,000 DOGE.

Supply: There is no maximum limit on the number of coins, as 10,000 new coins are issued every minute, leading to continuous inflation in supply.
