The GRASS project has entered the second round of a massive airdrop and has already increased by over 15% in a day. The eighth episode has now started, while the previous one — the seventh — concluded on May 26, officially closing the first season. The second season has allocated 170 million GRASS tokens — approximately $408 million at the current price of $2.4.
At the same time, GRASS is completing the testing of its Android application, which will allow users to rent out unused mobile and Wi-Fi traffic. This enhances interest in the project from the crypto community.
For comparison: previous major airdrops from Pyth Network, Worldcoin, and JITO ranged from $125 million to $312 million. The second GRASS airdrop already surpasses them in scale, but still lags behind leaders like $Uniswap, Apecoin, and Arbitrum, whose distributions peaked over $1 billion.
However, it is important to remember that these estimates were based on maximum token prices over the years. GRASS does not have such a history yet — the token was launched only in October 2024. But if the growth continues, the project could very well become one of the largest airdrops in the history of the crypto market.
