Crypto trader James Wynn has stirred the markets after opening a massive $137 million leveraged long position on Bitcoin. The trade, placed in early May 2025 on the Hyperliquid platform, uses 40x leverage—meaning any significant price movement could lead to large gains or losses. Wynn’s entry price was $96,629.4 per BTC, totaling around 1,419.4 BTC, with a liquidation point set at $87,844.

Wynn isn't new to big wins—he reportedly made $46.5 million in profits within just two months by leveraging positions on Bitcoin and memecoins. His aggressive trading style and consistent returns have earned him a notable following in the crypto space.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at around $109,165, slightly down by 0.47% on the day, with price movements ranging between $108,291 and $110,170.

Wynn’s bold bet signals strong confidence in Bitcoin’s upward momentum. However, with such high leverage, the risks are equally steep. Traders are advised to approach such strategies cautiously, keeping in mind the volatility and unpredictability of the crypto market.
