Odaily Planet Daily News - A senior official announced on Monday that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) will launch new investigations into the cocaine incident found in the White House during President Biden's term in 2023 and the leak of the Supreme Court draft opinion that overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022. Dan Bongino, the FBI deputy director with a background in right-wing podcasts, announced this news on social media, stating that he has requested weekly updates on the progress of the cases. Both incidents have been hot topics among American right-wing figures. Two years ago, a small bag of cocaine was discovered in a small cubicle near the entrance of the West Wing of the White House, provoking ridicule from Republicans. At the time, then-Republican presidential candidate Trump claimed that the drugs could not possibly belong to anyone other than Biden and his son Hunter, even though the Biden family was not in Washington at the time. On May 2, 2022, the draft opinion of the Supreme Court regarding Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization was made public, indicating that Roe v. Wade would be overturned, and the constitutional right to abortion would be terminated. The leak incident prompted condemnation from Trump, who referred to the leaker as “scum” and demanded that the involved journalists be imprisoned until they reveal who the leaker is. Bongino previously claimed, without providing any evidence, that a whistleblower told him they suspect the evidence related to the White House cocaine bag might correlate with a member of Biden's inner circle.
