Airdrops and Community Engagement
WalletConnect organizes airdrop campaigns to grow its community and increase user engagement. 8.5% of total supply is dedicated to seasonal airdrops for users, dApps, wallets, and node operators. These airdrops aim to promote the use of the network as well as to carry out the token distribution fairly.
Users who want to participate in airdrops usually need to complete certain tasks. For example, steps such as following WalletConnect’s social media accounts, creating a wallet, or interacting with certain dApps may be requested. These events keep the community’s interest in the project alive. $WCT
