My friend invested in a USDT mining project on Telegram. Initially, everything went smoothly as my friend easily tracked information and communicated within the project's Telegram group. However, when Telegram was banned in Vietnam, my friend could no longer access the group to update news or contact support.

This makes my friend very worried because they do not know if they can get back the invested money. In reality, the ability to retrieve funds depends on the transparency and credibility of the project. If the project has other communication channels like a website, email, or Discord, my friend may still find a way to contact them to withdraw funds or update information. On the other hand, if the project only operates on Telegram and has no external support, the chances of getting the money back will be very low, especially when Telegram is blocked causing communication disruptions.

My friend is currently trying to use a VPN to access Telegram again and keep track of the project's situation. This is also an important reminder that when investing through Telegram or other social media platforms, investors need to be cautious, verify the project's credibility, and protect the safety of their personal cryptocurrency wallets.

Has anyone among you experienced this? Let’s check in.
