Another user accepted the cryptocurrency and arranged the delivery, proving for the first time that Bitcoin could function as a medium of exchange. At the time, Bitcoin was worth very little, but today, that same amount would be valued in the millions—making it one of the most iconic and costly pizza orders in history.
