In the crypto world, the primary market refers to those 'newly born' tokens — they have not yet been listed on exchanges, prices are unstable, and interest is low, but because of this, it is a high-potential phase for capturing hundredfold tokens.
For example, some projects are initially only available on decentralized trading platforms on the chain (like BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Base Chain, etc.), and can only be bought immediately using an on-chain wallet.
Today, I'll share an extremely simple tutorial on participating in the primary market using the [Binance Web3 Wallet], which even beginners can understand and get started with directly!
🧾 Preliminary Preparation
Download the Binance App (latest version)
On the Binance homepage → Click the 'Web3' button to enter the Binance Wallet.Create or import a wallet
For first-time users, you can choose 'Create New Wallet'. Remember to securely save your mnemonic phrase, do not take screenshots, and do not share it with anyone!Prepare main chain assets for trading (e.g., BNB / ETH / SOL)
You need to prepare a certain amount of on-chain currency as 'transaction fees' and 'capital for purchasing tokens', depending on the target token's chain (e.g., you need BNB for BNB Chain, ETH for Base Chain).
🔍 Practical Steps (Using BNB Chain as an Example)
Enter the Binance Web3 Wallet homepage
Click the 'DApp' button below to enter the on-chain DApp market.Choose an on-chain trading platform (like PancakeSwap)
Enter 'PancakeSwap' in the search bar, open it and connect your wallet address.Enter the target token's contract address
On the 'Exchange' page, paste the contract address of the unlisted token, confirm that the displayed name and icon are correct (to avoid fake coins), and click 'Import'.Choose to exchange BNB for this token and click Swap.
Enter the amount you want to buy, confirm the slippage and transaction settings, and then click 'Confirm Transaction'.Wait for the transaction to be on-chain, and the token will arrive in your wallet in a few seconds!
⚠️ Notes (Must Save)
Contract address must be obtained from official channels: never randomly search for token names, as it’s easy to buy fake or trap coins.
Ensure sufficient transaction fees before operating: each transaction incurs a small Gas fee, so make sure to leave some BNB / ETH in your wallet before proceeding.
Confirm whether the project has locked liquidity and whether the price has surged too much: the price of tokens in the primary market can fluctuate easily, so have realistic expectations when entering.
Do not authorize unknown DApps on-chain: unless you confirm their safety, to avoid asset theft.
✅ Who is it suitable for?
Investors who want to participate in the early stages of a project and buy at off-peak times
Users who do not want to miss airdrop opportunities for popular coins and trending tokens
Beginners or semi-beginners familiar with the Binance ecosystem who want to further explore on-chain potential
