Brad Garlinghouse isn’t pulling punches. In a new Crypto in One Minute episode, the Ripple CEO called crypto ETFs a financial revolution in the making, especially for institutional investors.

“For the first time, Wall Street can trade crypto directly—no exchanges, no cold wallets, just regulated access,” Garlinghouse said.

He explained how ETFs are doing two big things:

1. Unlocking trillions in institutional capital by offering regulated, easy-to-access exposure to digital assets.

2. Legitimizing crypto by framing it like traditional commodities—just like gold ETFs did years ago.

XRP ETF Incoming? Ripple fans are buzzing. Analysts believe an XRP spot ETF could be next, with Polymarket placing the odds of approval in 2025 at 83%. And it’s not just XRP—spot ETFs for DOGE, LTC, and SOL are also in the pipeline.

Crypto Mount Rushmore? Lawyer John Deaton says Ripple’s execs deserve a place in crypto’s hall of fame. He nominated:

Brad Garlinghouse – Visionary leadership, RLUSD, Hidden Road acquisition

Jed McCaleb – XRP creator

David Schwartz – Ledger architect and early blockchain patent holder

Deaton also shouted out Satoshi, Vitalik Buterin, CZ, Brian Armstrong, and others as crypto legends reshaping finance.

Bottom Line:

Garlinghouse believes ETFs aren’t just investment tools—they’re a mainstream on-ramp that could shift the entire financial system.
