President Trump is accused of violating federal law by using the presidential seal at an event for TRUMP Coin investors at a private golf club in Virginia.
The party was attended by around 220 international investors, including billionaire Justin Sun, raising concerns about conflicts of interest.
The price of $TRUMP Coin dropped more than 8% after the event. Under the law, this act could be fined or result in up to 6 months in prison.
