Why do altcoins need to surge?
What are altcoins? Actually, apart from Bitcoin, everything else is an altcoin.
The first reason for the surge is that altcoins have been in a continuous decline, even plummeting for many years; during the peak periods, market capitalizations of several hundred million to billions of dollars were very common; now, almost all have fallen to a market cap of 1 billion, or even tens of millions of dollars, so why do we say that despite the decline, there is a need for a price rally? Because the higher the market cap, the more funds are needed for a rally, which is pointless to raise; there's also a need to stabilize the market and gradually sell off, which requires a lot of time and a lot of funds. Now that the market cap has dropped by several dozen times, starting it up requires much less preparation; previously, 2 billion was needed, but now only 200 million is enough.
The second reason: the 'doge' of altcoins also wants to profit; when is the best time to profit? That’s during a bull market, which is rare and only happens once every four years. If you are a project party, wouldn’t you look forward to a bull market? For example, if the project party prepares 100 million dollars, it can raise the coin's market cap by 10 times or even higher within three months; then, when it reaches over 5 times, they will sell off while pushing the price up, turning the prepared 100 million dollars into 350 million dollars in three months. Which project party wouldn’t want to do this favorable thing?
The third reason is technical analysis; the monthly charts of altcoins are all heartbreaking. If this is the market peak now, then where will altcoins fall to again? What’s the difference from being cut in Myanmar? Thus, the Binance exchange, the largest in the world, will not allow altcoins to exhibit such a trend, so a rally is inevitable.
The fourth reason: retail investors almost only play altcoins; Bitcoin is too high, and raising it further isn’t very meaningful; if no one buys, then they can only push altcoins, and when altcoins rise to a high position, various positive news will be released to distribute the chips to retail investors; thus achieving the act of cashing out.
