The judge ruled that the evidence presented during the trial was insufficient to support the jury's conclusion that Avraham Eisenberg made significant false statements to Mango Markets. Eisenberg was convicted in April 2024 of telecommunications fraud, commodity fraud, and commodity manipulation for profiting $110 million by exploiting a loophole in the decentralized exchange Mango Markets in 2022.
Previously, U.S. prosecutors requested a sentence of at least 6.5 years in prison for the attacker of Mango Markets.
