Trump Proposes 25% Tariff on Non-U.S. Manufactured Phones
According to Odaily, U.S. President Donald Trump has announced plans to impose a 25% tariff on mobile phone manufacturers that do not produce their products in the United States. Trump specifically warned that Samsung products manufactured outside the U.S. would be subject to this tariff. He stated that if companies like Apple and Samsung establish manufacturing facilities within the country, they would be exempt from these tariffs. Trump emphasized that products sold in the U.S. should be manufactured domestically. The tariffs are expected to be implemented by the end of June.
