Picoreteam: New App Listings in the Mainnet Ecosystem Interface & Updated Account Recovery Option
+This Article highlights two recent updates reflecting ongoing progress across the Pi ecosystem.
First, several new community applications have been added to the Mainnet Ecosystem Interface, expanding what is available to Pioneers and reinforcing the network’s focus on ecosystem development and utility. Second, a new account recovery flow has been introduced to help Pioneers reset their passwords in a secure and efficient manner. Both updates support broader participation and continued growth as the network evolves.
🛑🛑New Apps Added to the Mainnet Ecosystem Interface
+A range of new Pi apps have been added to the Mainnet Ecosystem Interface, signaling ongoing growth across the Pi app landscape. These five apps—including a snake game app, an e-commerce app, and an app providing information about the Pi token—have met the network's standards for app quality, functional completeness, utility assessment, and compliance with the Pi ecosystem’s stricter policies and guidelines.
+Each new app listing not only expands what’s available to Pioneers today but also sets a strong example for future developers. As more apps are released, the ecosystem becomes a more attractive and rewarding space for community developers—creating a positive momentum for innovation, adoption, and real-world utility.
+Please note again that the Mainnet app listing does not include all Mainnet-ready apps, as selection is limited based on quality, utility offered, and adherence to Pi ecosystem policies and guidelines. There are many other third-party Pi apps not listed here. Some third-party Pi apps act as directories for Pi Mainnet apps and may display many or even all Mainnet apps, so Pioneers may refer to those for a broader view of available applications.
🛑🛑New Account Recovery Option Now Available
+A new process has been introduced for password resets: if a Pioneer has set up a trusted email, a password reset link will be sent to that email address, in addition to the existing methods.
+This additional option is designed to make account recovery more accessible and reliable while maintaining security. Email recovery is generally simpler and cheaper for users and more dependable—e.g., not reliant on local mobile network providers. This not only protects personal access to Pi but also strengthens the overall network engagement by helping more people stay connected and active in the ecosystem.
