MetaEra News, May 24 (UTC+8), on May 24, the Shenzhen-based robotics startup EngineAI plans to raise 1 billion yuan (approximately 139 million USD) in the fourth quarter of 2025, with a target valuation of 1 billion USD to further develop humanoid robots. EngineAI was founded in 2023 and gained attention this year for showcasing a robot capable of performing a front flip. According to co-founder Ren Guowen, the company expects to deliver nearly 1,000 robots by 2025, with a target of reaching 10,000 units by 2028.
