On May 24, Eastern Time on May 23, Roam introduced its new product Premium eSIM at the Solana Accelerate conference. The next-generation Premium eSIM integrates voice calls, SMS, and data functions, providing users with a flexible, high-speed, and secure global mobile communication solution. The corresponding number function for Premium eSIM will be available soon, at which time voice and SMS services will also be launched. The Premium eSIM service does not require a physical SIM card and can be activated with one click through the Roam App, covering more than 160 countries and regions globally, allowing users to say goodbye to roaming fees. Additionally, leveraging over 8 million available WiFi nodes worldwide, Roam users can enjoy unlimited free WiFi connections within the coverage area and receive corresponding free data by checking in. Roam also announced that it is one of the first to implement the Solana Attestation Service (SAS) project. SAS is a decentralized identity verification service built on Solana, aiming to enhance the security and privacy of digital identities. Roam will deeply integrate Premium eSIM with SAS to ensure the security of user identity information, break down communication data barriers, and further promote the evolution of global developmental wireless networks.
