Is Bitcoin the New Cash—or Just a Transparent Ledger?

Newsflash:
BTC is not private.

Every transaction is public.

Every address is traceable.

Chain analysis firms are watching.

That’s a problem if we want Bitcoin to mimic cash.

Private spending is normal. You don’t want the world knowing your coffee, rent, or donation history.

So what can fix it?

  • CoinJoin or collaborative transactions

  • Payment codes (BIP47)

  • Integrations with privacy layers (like Fedimint or Cashu)

  • Better front-end tools to abstract privacy workflows

True financial freedom requires spending in peace.

Until privacy is the norm—not a hack—Bitcoin won’t feel like money.
