(There’s no way, good night)
For some reason, posts with this image showing a magic formula (compound interest) have been appearing frequently here, with promises of quick gains, but let’s be honest, this is practically impossible (I won’t say it’s impossible because there’s always a lucky fool, that’s right, lucky, who manages to do it), but trust me kid, you’re not special, so you shouldn’t be that fool.
Why is it not possible?
1 - Making 30 winning trades in a row is unrealistic; even the best don’t do that.
2 - 25% is a lot. "Oh, just use leverage," that’s always a double-edged sword my friend, even using 25x leverage you would have to make 1% and it’s not "just 1%" (you’ll probably think it’s easy).
3 - Your emotions; the pressure to hit the target will be surreal and when you make a mistake, and you will, you’ll try to recover, and it’s at that moment that you lose everything you’ve gained.
How to make this possible?
With time, it’s as simple as that; aim for 10% per month by making very conservative trades (not being a chicken), risking only 1% of the capital per trade, and after 73 months, if you started with 1,000 you would have a little over 1 million (don’t talk to me about inflation, that’s not the topic here 😡). However, even with this more humble goal, it’s possible to fail in some months and not hit the mega, and that’s okay, because now the pressure is lower and you have time.
1 bad month won’t take all your money (as long as you follow the clear management).
I’ll leave the compound interest formula here for you to make simulations; I think you’ll want it, but don’t fall too in love with this wonder, everything takes time and you won’t get rich tomorrow.
C*(1+i)^t
C = capital (amount invested)
i = rate (goal, since it’s a percentage just divide by 100 10%/100=0.10)
t = time (I think I don’t need to explain this)
If you’re still in such a hurry, well... play the lottery, you have better chances there. 🙂👍
