Life advice: Don't be afraid of challenges.
People who are afraid of challenges don't lead good lives.
Often, the more afraid you are of something, the more likely you are to stumble in that area. I fear that I won't handle interpersonal relationships well, which has led me to become a people-pleaser, caught in a vicious cycle of internal strife and lack of respect. I fear that I will achieve nothing, so I try to grasp onto my studies, work, and love, but everything ends up going poorly; I fear that my knowledge is limited and my abilities are lacking, so I hesitate to present myself in front of others, causing me to miss one opportunity after another.
Fear is like a mantra that gradually transforms into a psychological suggestion for avoidance. Many times, it's not that I can't do something, but rather that I gradually lose the courage to act due to the inferiority of 'I am afraid' and 'maybe I should just give up.' When I confront everything with a fearless attitude, all my fears are resolved.
