On May 23, CZ clarified in a post on platform X that a few days ago, the Wall Street Journal (through its PR team) presented a long list of erroneous and negatively biased questions. The CZ team informed them that 'there are many inaccuracies and unfounded inferences.' CZ stated, 'I am not an intermediary for anyone. I did not introduce Mr. Saqib to the World Freedom Foundation team.' They had known each other long before, and I only met Mr. Saqib for the first time in Pakistan. I did not 'recommend overseas travel for the World Freedom Foundation.' CZ stated that the Wall Street Journal is merely a mouthpiece. There are certain forces within the United States that want to hinder the efforts to make the U.S. the capital of cryptocurrency. They want to attack cryptocurrency, attack global cryptocurrency leaders, and the governments that support cryptocurrency. Previously, reports indicated that the WSJ claimed that CZ facilitated some of WLFI founder's Middle East trip, comparing Trump to 'the godfather' during the introduction.
