CZ, the founder of Binance, spoke on stage at Token 2049 in Dubai about artificial intelligence, education, and cryptocurrency. He discussed how AI is being used in education, Dubai's increasingly important role in cryptocurrency, and how governments are connecting with the growing digital assets.

Giggle Academy: Using AI to educate millions of children

CZ talked about his Giggle Academy, an AI-based educational platform launched in early 2024. Its purpose is to help underprivileged children worldwide learn for free, aiming to reach 100 million learners. In a very short time, Giggle Academy has used AI to create books and lessons in over 15 languages, attracting 220,000 children.

Adaptive learning and game-based education help make learning both entertaining and accessible to students. CZ funds this initiative to ensure users do not have to pay fees. Giggle Academy believes it can scale quickly thanks to AI's translation capabilities and personalized content creation. Combining technology with social needs will address issues in global education.

The rise of Dubai as a cryptocurrency hub

Dubai is world-renowned for supporting cryptocurrency businesses. CZ points to Dubai's clearly defined legal framework, business-friendly policies, and tax advantages in free zones like DMCC. These factors have positioned Dubai as a global destination for entrepreneurs and cryptocurrency investors.

Events like Token 2049 and the HODL Summit have helped attract thousands of cryptocurrency companies to the region. CZ mentioned that Dubai's willingness to embrace new ideas has driven the city's development as a blockchain and digital asset hub. Using blockchain technology for digital ID and land registry is a way for the government to set an example for other countries.

Government cryptocurrency reserves and AI integration

CZ emphasized that Bhutan and the United States are among the countries establishing strategic cryptocurrency reserve funds in line with the latest global trend toward cryptocurrency adoption. Bitcoin is mined with hydropower in Bhutan, and Ethereum is part of the government’s assets.

He pointed out the potential of integrated AI agents with cryptocurrency to facilitate payments and financial transactions in cryptocurrency. Projects like ai16z and Virtuals Protocol showcase this emerging collaboration, although there are still regulatory challenges.

CZ encourages developers and investors to pay attention to projects that will create real value while suggesting avoiding speculative AI coins. He advises that new investors should focus on essential factors and long-term growth rather than short-term speculative profits.

At Token 2049, Changpeng Zhao pointed out that AI, education, and cryptocurrency are becoming increasingly intertwined. He emphasized leveraging new technology to benefit society and the economy, with Dubai playing a crucial role in this evolving ecosystem.
